Champion must qualify for Denmark Super Series

The surprise winner of Women’s Singles at China Masters, Wang Shixian, has to pass the qualifying rounds to participate in Denmark Super Series.

Chinese players are currently dominating the world scene of women’s single. Four of the seven highest ranked players accepted into the main draw represents China, and they can expect company in the main draw from Wang Shixian and presumably also Wang Xin who beat Tine Rasmussen in both China Masters and Japan Open.
Only player that might be able to challenge the two chinese shuttlers is japanese youngster Maya Sekiya. Maya sprung a big surprise in Japan Open when she defeated former Junior World Champion Jiang Yanjiao.

In mixeddoubles,two notable pairs has been assigned to the qualifying draw.
Japanese celebrity Reiko Shiota with partner Shintaro Ikeda has to qualify, and so does malaysian men’s double-ace Koo Kien Keat (3K) and partner Wong Pei Tty.
The two malaysian players are ranked second in the world in men’s respectively women’s doubles.
